Hello, Kia Ora, Assalamu alaikum, Bonjour, Bula, Gidday, God dag, Hallo, Helô, Hola, Konnichiwa, Kamusta, Mālō e lelei, Namaste, Nǐ Hǎo, Sat Sri Akal, Talofa, and a warm welcome to Magic Kingdom Childcare and Learning Centre.

Magic Kingdom is a privately owned and operated family based centre in Blockhouse Bay, owned by husband and wife team, Dr Darius and Nikeeta Singh (who grew up right here in the neighbourhood). Nikeeta is the managing director and is a fully registered teacher with experience in ECE teaching (especially transition to school program), experience as a Head Teacher as well as in Management, and who is also a mother of three young children under 6!

Her teaching team is a strong unit, friendly, professional, qualified and experienced, whose overall team philosophy reveals a genuine dedication and passion about discovering, nurturing and growing children's learning potential.

We are currently building a brand new, purpose built facility on 115 Boundary Rd (opp Lynfield College and next door to Sunset Retirement Village), designed with teachers' and parents' wishlists in mind and we are set to open in July 2012.

OUR INNOVATIONS: MUST SEE features like our Enchanted indoor forest, "Avatar" forest sleep room, Themed sand pits with a Moon crater (under 2's) or an Ocean beach (over 2's) projected on the fenceline,  NZ rainforest and riverbed water play area also projected on the fenceline, Pacific bure area, our patent pending and trademarked "Learning Roots and Learning Shoots" system, our trademarked "KIDCAM" where parents can log on and securely view their child during mat time, and much more…..

OUR ENVIRONMENT: Like you have never seen before - truely innovative, inspiring, and welcoming.

OUR CARE: All meals provided (morning tea, cooked lunch, afternoon tea, late snack). Meals are nutritious and very popular with our children. Vegetarian, Halal, special dietary needs catered for. We have even published our very own 40 page cook book for what works best for children.

OUR RATIOS: Higher than MOE requirements to ensure proper attention, learning observations, and safety (1:8 for over 2's, 1:4 for under 2's).

OUR TEACHERS: Friendly, open, experienced, qualified, and simply wonderful.

OUR SCHOOL READINESS PROGRAM: We run a special transition to school program for our 4 year olds to give them the best head start for their entire journey throughout school.

OUR REPUTATION: We have recently (Mar 2012) achieved an excellent ERO report together with record enrolments in our sister childcare centre in Tauranga!
